Macau - Las Vegas of China?
0 Comments Published by max June 22nd, 2008 in Travel Asia, Travel Info.
Here’s an interesting gambling and casino destination in China called Macau, is it Vegas of China?
Macau’s glitter is often compared to that of Las Vegas, and it has been attracting an exponential amount of chip-wielding tourists from across Asia and throughout the world. (In fact, last year Macau overtook Las Vegas in gambling revenues.) As if it wasn’t a secret before now: Chinese people really love to gamble.

Jeju Island is Hawaii for South Korea!
0 Comments Published by max June 20th, 2008 in Travel Asia, Travel Info.
Jeju Island is located off the southern coast of Korea. It’s right in-between Japan and Korea. Most people refer to Jeju Island as Hawaii for South Korea.
You can expect a lot of fun here including submarine riding, cave touring, waterfalls, horse riding, etc…etc…
I remember going here about 20 years ago and it was one of the nicest islands I’ve been to. Next time you are headed to Korea, make sure to book couple nights here.
Jeju Island, also known as the “Island of the Gods,” is a popular vacation spot for Koreans and many Japanese. It remains one of the top honeymoon destinations for Korean newlyweds. The island’s mixture of volcanic rock, frequent rains, and temperate climate, make it very similar to the Hawaiian Islands in the U.S. The island offers visitors a wide range of activities: hiking on Halla-san (South Korea’s highest peak), catching sunrises and sunsets over the ocean, viewing majestic waterfalls, riding horses, or just lying around on the sandy beaches.
