Tsunami Warning in Japan – Live video of Kuji Harbor, Japan!

Tsunami is about to hit the shores of Japan, we have a special update with live video from Kuji harbor in Japan.
Experts predict 10-feet tsunamis to hit Japan real soon and as many as 50,000 people have been evacuated already.

Let us all pray that the tsunami isn’t going to be devastating. One thing for sure, many lives will be saved due to preparations but existing businesses and houses bordering the shoreline might be hard to save even at low estimate of 10-foot tsunamis.

Right now, we are hearing a lot of sea gulls making a lot of noise, perhaps an indication that tsunami is nearing soon.

As some of you well know, there’s been tsunamis hitting many parts of the world today including Hawaii as a result of recent Chile earthquakes.

I was watching the whole Hawaii tsunami earlier today for few hours. Luckily, Hawaii escaped the whole trial with no devastating results.

In the meanwhile, Japan is to be hit with tsunami waves any minute. Japan was also hit with a 7.3 magnitude earthquake just a day ago. That could have set off more tsunamis in other directions of the world.

Above is a live video I found of Kuji harbor in Japan, where the Tsunami is supposed to hit, expected at 10 feet.

As I am watching the live video, I can hear public speakers warning people to evacuate.

My prayers go out to those who have died in Chile and pray that tsunami doesn’t hit Japan too big.

Gulf Island Scenic Drive ReOpens in Florida

After being closed for almost five years, the scenic seven-mile stretch of road that connects Navarre Beach and Pensacola Beach through the Gulf Islands National Seashore will be once again opening its doors. State Road 399 – also known as J. Earle Bowden Way – is regarded as one of the most beautiful beach drives in the country. There is no toll charged to access the Gulf Islands National Seashore using the Navarre Beach bridge.

“The opening of this road is monumental for tourism on Navarre Beach. Visitors who like to travel the “scenic routes” use it and discover our beautiful beach. Visitors to Navarre Beach and Pensacola Beach love to access other areas using this amazing stretch of road instead of Highway 98,” said Kate Wilkes, executive director of the Santa Rosa County Tourist Development Council. “I could not even guess how many people have called or e-mailed to ask the question ‘Is the road open yet?’ It is a tourist attraction itself!”

Navarre Beach is preparing for the spring and summer high season. Bookings are looking strong so far this year and the reopening of the seashore road is expected to bring even more visitors back to Navarre Beach.

Experienced world travelers will no doubt point out that I didn’t pick the cheapest of the cheap beach locales for this compilation of top budget beach vacations. After all, why not include Goa, India; Mombasa, Kenya; Lombok, Indonesia; Koh Phi Phi, Thailand; or Nha Trang, Vietnam? I agree, you can usually find a hut on the beach at those destinations for less than ten bucks a day; however, take into account the cost of a long flight and the luxury of time that most travelers don’t have and it turns into a much pricier endeavor. So, for practical purposes, I’ve limited my choices to the best budget beach vacations in North and Central America, with a special shout out to Brazil. Now you have no excuse not to lather on the lotion and throw down your beach towel.
