Here’s a great guide on how to enjoy Oktoberfest if it’s your first time.

You race a mob of lads in leather shorts to find a seat in the packed, wooden tent. A busty barmaid whams down an enormous glass of beer. You drink to the cry of Prost! and get ready to do it again. Then you stroll outside and jump on the roller-coaster.
You’re pushed, pulled, stretched and slammed and decide this would have been a better idea before the beer!
Feeling hungry now? Nothing a plate of pork knuckles wouldn’t fix. Easy to fill your belly here, if you’ve got the coin for it. The sun goes down and you head back inside.
You start swinging your drink and singing along to the sound of oom-pah music. Soon you’re dancing on the benches with a dozen friendly locals.

Here’s a couple museums in Berlin you might want to check out.
clipped from www.hotelscheap.org
The collections of Berlin’s 170 museums span time from antiquity to the present and reflect Germany’s past. 19th-century German archaeologists played a leading role uncovering some of the ancient world’s greatest treasures, a selection of which can be seen here. In the 20th Century, Germany’s Bauhaus was the center of high modernism before the Nazi’s expelled its founders and closed its school.

Spreuerhof Street - The Narrowest Street in the World #3

Spreuerhof Street has been, according to the Guinness Book of Records, the narrowest street in the world since 2007.
In reality, it’s just a passageway, an exit from a rear courtyard. In the eighteenth century, this district was completely destroyed in a huge fire. To ensure that, in future, fires couldn’t spread so easily from house to house, a narrow space was left between them.

Here’s a cool site where you can learn about the famous German Beer!
clipped from www.germanbeerinstitute.com

“Beer turns thurst into
a beautiful thing,” goes an old German saying … And thus it is, especially
if the beer is a German brew, sublimely crafted and perfected over centuries,
even millennia.
Though
made from just four ingredients — malt, hops, yeast and water —
German beers come in all decriptions: From
mild to strong, from straw-blond to jet-black, from assertive to
delicate, from robust to sublime, from seductive to matter-of-fact, from
elegant to earthy, from racy to substantial … And they all taste absolutely
magnificient.
