Radison Hotels announces a great offer, perhaps something familiar. The promo is a free Friday night promo if guests purchase of a Thursday or Saturday night stay from now until Sept. 15. The promo was actually inspired by a young boy who embarks on a summer-long campaign to turn Friday into “Freeday” created by Radisson Hotels & Resorts.

The light-hearted, free-spirited videos follow the journey of eight-year-old Freddy, who discovers his “superhero powers” during a weekend family getaway at a Radisson hotel. As the series continues, Fantastic Freddy continues to use his new found powers to foster goodwill during the rest of his summer vacation.

The first in the series, “Freddy Frees Friday,” is a 7.5 minute short film that introduces Freddy, and tells the tale of how he arrived at his benevolent powers. Subsequent home-movie style videos in the series document Freddy’s real-world interactions with unsuspecting beneficiaries.
