Hitch Hike Europe with HitchHikers.org!
0 Comments Published by max May 15th, 2008 in Travel Europe, Travel Info.Next time you are in Europe, you can “reserve” a hitch hike ride over at Hitchhikers.org. Not that I tried it and probably won’t due to so many horror movies I’ve seen where hitchhikers end up dead, this might be a good source for you if you are truly out of money and would like to risk your life in a foreign country.
Lol, but this could be a good source for hitching a ride if you live in Europe already.

Nothing like your commuter train to work, or a cramped bus or budget airline seat..! Both 1st & standard class passengers can enjoy a meal in the elegant restaurant car on GNER trains from London to York, Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Inverness & Aberdeen. A full English breakfast is about £13.50, a main course at dinner about £14. Go on, treat yourself..! at train travel in Britain.

Since 1995, Britain’s rail network has been run by over twenty different private companies. The government makes sure they work together as ‘National Rail’, with co-ordinated passenger information, fares & ticketing. You can find train times & fares for all operators all on one website, and you can buy a ticket between any two stations. Tickets are normally valid on any operator’s trains. This page is a quick guide to train travel within the UK.

Riviera del Brenta - Venice

The World Cup last year was fantastic for Italy. Always, I want to go to Europe, and I would love to visit some where in Italy like the (Riviera del Brenta - Venice).
The Brenta Riviera is made up of districts and green spots along the ancient course of a river linking Padova to Venice. This was the ideal extension of Venice onto the mainland, almost a continuation of the lagoon city: between the 16th and 18th centuries the Brenta Riviera experienced a golden age which turned it into a privileged holiday resort for rich Venetian nobles.

Find out more about the Swedish National Day, 6 June, and other Swedish traditions and events.
Perhaps this is why it has taken such a long time for Sweden’s National Day, 6 June, to be a day that is widely celebrated. As a peace-loving nation that has not been part of any armed conflicts in modern times, Sweden’s patriotism has been quietly reserved.

Here is one of the first pyramids in Europe. The Bosnian pyramids is one of the most wonderful place for visit!
The Bosnian Pyramid, Visocica Hill, is the first European pyramid to be discovered and is located in the heart of Bosnia, in the town of Visoko. The pyramid has all the elements: four perfectly shaped slopes pointing toward the cardinal points, a flat top and an entrance complex. There are also the ruins of a Medieval walled town, once the base of a Bosnian king Tvrtko of Kotromanic (1338-1391). Because of its similarities to the Pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan, Mexico, it has been named the “Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun” (’Bosanska Piramida Sunca’). There are also a three smaller pyramids on the site, the Bosnian Pyramid of the Moon (’Bosanska Piramida Mjeseca’), Bosnian Pyramid of Earth, (’Bosanska Piramida Zemlje’) and Bosnian Pyramid of the Dragon ( ‘Bosanska Piramida Zmaja’).
