Lake Bled is one of Slovenia’s most popular tourist area, next to the town of Bled. The lake was formed when the Bohinj glacier receded. It is 2120 m long, 1380 m wide and up to 30.6 m deep. Nowhere in the world is there a more lovely place, than this paradise and its surroundings. The island in the middle of Lake Bled is without doubt one of the premier attractions of the area, which surprises and charms every visitor.
