For less than 50 bucks, you can have a fun day out island hopping in New York City. Picture if you will, a quiet beach or river front, kids fooling around, families with picnic baskets, brilliant weather (well…maybe), and the Manhattan skyline a few minutes away.

Well, to my mind, although I haven’t been to the statue in New York, Statue of Liberty is probably the best place to celebrate July 4th Independence Day, provided there are lots of night activities to do in New York after partying.

Of course, you can celebrate it in San Francisco where I live, but the weather this year has been “very” super foggy, covering the whole city with a giant fog.  I am not sure if the fireworks can even be seen and probably dangerous to light them off.

Well, if you get a chance, make sure to celebrate Independence Day in New York, although New York is supposed to celebrate it on November somethin’….

We went to Waikiki Island in Hawaii last year. We had so much fun there, and we had a great time with cool weather. On the evening, we were enjoy watching the sunset from the pacific ocean view. We would love to visit there again soon!
