Here’s some more cool info on Chiang Mai, Thailand. I heard the smog is getting really bad in that area though.

Chiang MaiChiang Mai is Thailand’s northern version of Bangkok. It’s the second largest city in Thailand and is the gateway to the jungles and cities of the north. Once a quiet little village, the city has morphed in the last ten years into a major business and tourist center. Large amounts of westerners began flocking here for jungle treks and a quite mountain setting but the crowds kept increasing and with it the locals flocking to make money off them. Chiang Mai now has a population of 500,000.

Best Hotel for Partying in Seoul, Korea!

The Grand Hyatt is probably one of the best hotels to stay in Seoul, South Korea.  It features a small nightclub where you can meet a lot of other open tourists and locals.

Plus, it’s close to many night clubs, if you are into partying at all.

The Ritz-Carlton probably is the best hotel to stay in Seoul if you are really into clubbing.  The hotel itself hosts numerous celebrity events and is within the Kangnam district of Seoul.  FYI, the Kangnam district is probably where most westerners want to be as many people speak English and are familiar with American culture and tourists.

I’ve personally lived in this area for about a year and used to go clubbing a lot at Ritz-Carlton and even met a Korean comedian once.

If you are into not spending much money, there are also many local inns in the Kangnam area for about $30-40, which usually includes a flat screen TV and a jacooze.  They are not listed on any English sites but you can find them everywhere usually hidden in the corners of any busy streets.  The locals use them for couple hours for sex but it’s a great resource that virtually no tourists no about.
