Red, White and Baytowne 4th of July Celebration for the Family
One of the things that most families are gearing up is a worthy 4th of July getaway. And for people finding their way to Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, a free weekend of 4th of July events for the entire family and people of all ages with the “Red, White and Baytowne”. The celebration kicks off at The Village of Baytowne Wharf on Friday, July 3 at 7 pm with the entertaining sounds and sights of Coconut Radio.
Events on July 4 start with the roaring river water slide at 10 am, which will remain open until 10 pm. At 6 pm, a stilt walker will be showing off his skills while a facepainter paints patriotic faces. Betsy Ross will also make an appearance at 6 pm.
The Market Shops at Sandestin will also offer a full day of shopping fun and discounts of up to 50% on the 4th of July. Live entertainment featuring Reed Waddle will be at 6-8 pm on the Cypress Green combined with children’s activities by Imagine Faces with face painting and balloon sculptures.
The day concludes with an extravagant fireworks show from the Village of Baytowne Wharf at 9:15 pm. American flags will be passed out during the day and guests will have the opportunity to write a letter to a soldier.
On Sunday July 5, the roaring river water slide will run again from 10 am to 10 pm and Coconut Radio will entertain crowds from 6-9 pm.
