Las Vegas Monorail

Using the monorail is a good way to check out every hotel in Las Vegas. The only bad part about the monorail is that it’s always hidden behind casinos and you have to walk a lot just to get on and off the monorail.

If you are going to be staying for couple days, I really suggest a rental-car or take a taxi.

The Las Vegas Monorail (technically the Robert N. Broadbent Las Vegas Monorail) was finally completed and opened to the public in July 2004. It was then plagued by several problems, the largest being parts falling from the monorail to the ground below. After several starts and stops, so to speak, it opened without further issues in early 2005.
