Traveling California on Highway 1!

If you want to venture many of the beach cities in California, the best way would be to travel on Highway 1, which sidelines the whole west coast of California from Los Angeles to Eureka.
I personally have driven from Los Angeles to Eureka before. (on separate occasions) The only thing you must watch out for is to drive a stable car and to fill up your tank fully whenever you see a gas station.
At one point coming from LA to San Fran, I couldn’t find a gas station for about an hour. When I finally did, the gas price was like double the standard.
But yes, it’s a great, scenic drive. If you head north toward Eureka, there’s even some places where people will sleep over by the beach.
